I'd like to report my only sighting of a monarch butterfly on May 13th on the edge of the forest surrounding our home in Jim Thorpe,Pa. I was very happy to see it as I did not see any monarchs last year. We were looking for them because there is a stand of milkweed nearby. This year's monarch looked like an old one. It was faded. No others were in the area.
