Unfortunately not one of our tulips bloomed! They did emerge but that's as far as they got. The students gave several reasons for this: they were planted around trees in the playground and were trampled by children who didn't realize that they were there; the area was too small and they didn't get enough food from the ground; the squirrels ate them; we didn't talk to them. The students want to dig up the bulbs and see what they look like, see if there are any clues as to why they stopped growing after they emerged.
