Brad in our fifth grade class spotted the first monarch of the year. He said it was flying, female, and a new monarch.
Ashley also spotted a monarch last Saturday, May 19th. The monarch she saw was sitting on flowers. It was also new and it was a male.
We are excited to see the monarchs return. We are waiting to see one in our school butterfly garden that the students planted last spring!
