We read your plea for sitings and how some of the Monarchs are coming up from Mexico in bad shape. Most of our sitings have been fresh, but two students claim to have seen Monarchs over the past week-end (5/18, 5/19) with ripped and torn wings. We aren't seeing as much milkweed yet for them to eat. Because we haven't participated in previous years, we don't know if this is a common occurance.
