WHILE PLANTING MARIGOLDS AROUND THE VEGETABLE GARDEN IN AN ATTEMPT TO THWART THE WASCALLY WABBITS, A BRIGHTLY COLORED, STRONG MONARCH FLEW BY IN A NORTHEASTERLY DIRECTION. THE WEATHER WAS PARTLY CLOUDY, TEMPS IN THE 60'S, WITH A STRONG WIND OUT OF THE NORTHWEST. THE TIME WAS AROUND 6PM.
A MONARCH ALSO VISITED MY BEDROOM WINDOW, 20 FEET IN THE AIR, 10:28 AM, 53 DEGREES F., WIND OUT OF THE NORTH AT 25-30 MPH. THE HAPPENED ON WED. MAY 23.
