Today, I was gardening and suddenly noticed a young Monarch butterfly fluttering by my cornflowers. I couldn't believe my eyes. It deffinately was not an adult Monarch. I later told my class about the sighting and was told by one of my students that she saw a Monarch egg on a milkweed plant at her country place in Rawdon, Quebec. I guess they're back!
