- I found, much to my amazement, 7 monarch
eggs around the 20th of May. I found them in Naperville, Il. and Geneva, Il.
and they are progressing along quite nicely since I am raising them indoors.
It has been so cold here lately. My amazement, however, is that I don't
usually see monarchs until mid June, let alone eggs. Is it that I haven't
looked this early (not likely, since I have been doing this for about 25
years), or is it really an anomoly?
