This report will be easy, but not happy.
No Monarchs, no larvae, no eggs and no evidence of little cats eating at any of the following four (4) Hampton Roads, VA locations on Sunday afternoon 2 - 3 PM, warm at approx 85 degrees, wind gusting between 15 to 25 mph, partly cloudy but with alot of sun most of the day.
1. Norfolk Botanical Gardens (36.9067N/-76.1973W)
2. VA Tech Research Station (36.888N/-76.180W)
3. Open field common milkweed patch (36.835N/-76.045W)
4. My Va Beach home milkweed patch (36.7535N/-75.9914W)

Most of the common milkweed has developed seed pods.

Here's hoping for better results next week.
