Hello I am the Natural Heritage Educator at Rushing River prov. Park in NW Ontario near Kenora. I saw my first Monarch of 2001 on June 22 at the hwy. junction of 17 & 71. I saw 2 more in the park on June 24 all wings were in good conditon. I see more and more every year but I haven't come across any larvae, but I haven't really been looking either. There is not alot of
milkweed up here...are the ones I see migrating? Judy Mann
