Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

The golf course here, has lots of milkweed surrounding it. I check everytime I go out to see if there are eggs or caterpillars. I was afraid that the monarchs were not coming this year because this has been the driest season on record. Suddenly an orange-wing butterfly landed on a purple flower. I was so thrilled that it was a Monarch. That means there are some here.
