Shorebird migration has begun on the "north coast" of America! Northern species spotted in migration this week include Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Ruddy Turnstones, Whimbrels and other tundra and far-north nesters. Caspian terns are also beginning to appear along the Lake Erie shoreline.
