I have an environmental club which includes students grades 3-5. Two years ago we planted a butterfly garden in front of school in a continuing effort to beautify our school and help create habitats and food sources for those creatures in need. As a result of this project the children and their parents have continued to learn more about native plant/animal relationships and we hope have helped save the monarch's overwintering habitat in Mexico. My officers decide how the money we raise is going to be spent. It would be wonderful for them to experience the migration via computer and become more aware and involved in an international project.
