We have managed to collect and sustain all instars and eggs as found by the kids throughout the week, numbering somewhere near 75.

This morning, we found that one of our 5th instars had made "j", and three others were thinking about it. By the end of the school day, we had magic and the kids got to see their first chrysalis. They are excited and can't wait for the butterfly to make its grand entrance! We anticipate three to five more by Monday morning.
