There are at least 20-30 monarch butterflies in my back yard.I can tell they were migrating through and they have decided to make the long line of trees in my yard their new home.I can back this up because last year they were not in my yard.I have captured two monarchs and I am taking good care of them.I have varified they are monarchs because of the coloration,we are studying monarchs in our class,and also as I told you earlier they were not in my yard last year so I can conclude they have migrated into my yard and are there to stay.
