This is the first time in the past six years that we have had monarchs
in the back yard in numbers at this time. Usually there is a period
of a month to six weeks where we see no monarchs ... August to
early September. This has been a strange year with monarchs
being reported at many places in Texas all summer. Cities with
their many gardens and the coastal plain have held more monarchs
thru the summer this year.
