Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/04/1999

Number: 1

We have seen Monarchs since early August. Mating and laying eggs. There are many caterpillars, more than I've ever seen in 5 years. Lots are going into chrysalis now. Unfortunately we also have lots of Tachynid fly infestation and monarchs are dying as caterpillars and as they go into chrysalis.
