This is really a non-sighting. This is our thrid year of raising, tagging, and tracking monarchs. For some reason, THIS year we have NONE! We've been looking and looking, but no caterpillars. A student's family did find some on their farm 60 miles south of here. Any thoughts on why we're having a monarch drought? We have had unusual growing conditions this year--cool and wet in May and June. Then hot and dry in July and August.
