Continued Progress: Rufous Hummingbird Migration Map and Data Mike Patterson reports that female Rufous hummingbirds are just about everywhere males are now. He also notes that males have reached Half Moon Bay, BC and eastward, to Oakridge, OR at 2300ft elevation in the Cascades.
If YOU see a Rufous Hummingbird in the West, make sure you report it to Mike Patterson. And if you see hummers, make sure you let him know if any flowers are blooming, too!
