Challenge Question #8

Greenstone, Robyn (GREENSTONE@kes.lhric.org)
Fri, 3 Apr 1998 14:54:20 EST

We are third graders in Miss Greenstone's class at Katonah Elementary
School in Katonah, NY. We think there are three reasons why monarchs
won't migrate at night.
1. Their predators would eat them at night because the butterflies
wouldn't be able to see them.
2. They can't find food at night.
3. They can't lay eggs at night because they wouldn't see the
milkweed.
