Humpback Whales prefer the island of Ohau because it has warmer waters
and they can follow along the coastline to find food easily and breed.
The island's coastline is below sea level and this feature is good for
feeding. The inlets are good to protect their calfs from enemies when
born. The inlets are isolated from the rest of the vast sea with its
    predators.
