We checked in our "Monarchs in the Classroom" glossary and found out
that an ejido is the land owned by a group of peasant farmers or the
name of the group of farmers. What does this have to do with monarch
    conservation?

DeAndres thinks that the butterflies go there.

Kathryn thinks that they might grow milkweed there. The monarchs could
lay their eggs, and the caterpillars would have something to eat.

Spencer thinks there might be lots of flowers or nectar sources for the
    butterflies.

Matthew said that there might be lots of trees for the butterflies to
    spend the winter in.

Steven thinks that residents on the ejidos might collect and report
tagged butterflies that have migrated there from the north.
