    It is dangerous for monarchs to fly as far north as Conneticut. It is
    very cold and windy at this time of year and milkweed is not in season.
    Another reason is that the leaves on the trees are not fully grown or
    developed in which case the trees would no provide enough shelter for the
    butterflies.
