Our class talked a lot about why eagles use their talons instead of their
beaks to carry things. Some of the reasons might be

    - if the eagle had to make a call, it would open its beak and lose its food
-the beak isn't strong enough to carry heavy things and the talons are
    - it needs its beak for defense
-the edge of the beak is too sharp and it would slice or break things
-it holds food with its talons so it can use its beak to rip the food
-the beak might not be big enough to hold things
