the eggs of the humming bird have a thin shell because the hummers probably
dont get the needed nutrients that are needed to make the shell thick. i
have chickens and you have to give them laying mash and corn and let them
graze in the yard so they can eat bugs and grass. the humming bird dosent
get all of that stuff. they get bugs and the grass but they dont get the
nutrients from the corn and mash. they also drink the red sugar water that
you make for them i bet that dosent help in the egg making process.
