    The First loons to migrate would have the advantage of getting more food

    and better materials to nest. They would also get to their destination
    earlier. Disadvantages basically don't apply to being first, exept they
    would have to build their own nests.
             The last birds to leave would have both advantages and
    disadvantages. Some advantages would be that they would be able to use
    other birds already built nests. The disadvantages are when they would
    get to their destination and they would probably have hardly any space
    to nest.
