Kindergartners and Third Grade students at Friends
School Haverford responded to Question #8 about the
Cloud Effect after hearing about it from their
teachers who are travelling in Mexico this week with
    Dr. Calvert.

The Monarchs are trying to get closer to the sun to
    get warmer.

The butterflies are flapping their wings trying to
    push the cloud away.

They are trying to get a lot of air from their wings
    to push the could away.

They want the warmth and the heat from flapping their
    wings.

The Monarchs are trying to fly through the clouds so
they can reach the sun. Then when they get warm enough
and when the sun peeks out they'll settle down.
