On Friday December 7th, our class taking advantage of the unseasonably
warm weather and was planting bulbs. We noticed that over 10 other bulbs
emerged and had green sprouts that were a little less than 1-inch high and
one that was over an inch high. We saw some bulbs underground that were
rooting. We also saw some bulbs underground that weren't sprouting or
rooting. There was a plant that looked like a chive that had grown to over
an inch tall. We think nature may have been tricked into thinking it was
sping but now it has snowed and there is a few inches on the ground so maybe
those plants have died.
