    These are some of the differences between two unique whales, transient and resident membeers. One diffeerence is that male transient whales have a very tall dorsal fin, up to 6 feet. The transient orca's dorsal fin is pointed at top and the resident orca's dorsal fin is rounded on top. Resident orcas feed on fish, but not marine mammals. Transient orcas feed on marine mammals.
