Dear Friends,
The butterflies and our first grade class was so excited to use their
maps to find out where they had started their original journey. We
found that we had butterflies from 12 different places in North
America. They were well cared for by German Medina in Angangueo,
Mexico.
Here are the schools where the butterflies came from that we received:
Riverview School in Denville, N.J.
Joliet School in Joliet, MT
Arbor Park School in Blair, NE
Two from Kernan Middle School in Jacksonville, FL
West Oak Lane Charter School in Phila. PA (15 minutes from where I grew
up) :)
King George Public School in Kirkland, Ontario
Lenoir City, TN
Schneider Elem School in North Aurora, IL
Red Mill Elem School in East Greenbush, NY
Ridge Road School in North Haven, CT
Tuckahoe Elem. School in Arlington, VA
We all loved looking at each butterfly and feel connected to those who
love Monarch butterflies.
Sincerely,
Discovery Primary School
A First Grade Class
