    Dear Friends,

    Our Environmental Club, the Green Tigers, received Symbolic Butterflies that
    were cared for this winter by three Mexican students named Yolanda Alvarez
    Arciniego, Rosa Martinez Quiros, and Isaag Arriaga of Angangueo, Michoacan.
    They spent the winter in Mexico clustered with butterflies from 4 different
    states. You may write to these students c/o German Medina, the Postman for
    Journey North.

    Here are the schools from which the butterfies we received came:

    Great Meadows Middle School (homerooms 5A, 5D, 5G, 6C, 6H, 6S), Great
    Meadows, NJ
    Old Fort Elementary School, Old Fort, NC
    Lakeview School (Ms. Johnson/Ms. Bastello (pm), Ms. Johnson/ Mrs. Eisenstat
    (am)), Denville, NJ
    Gilbertsville - Mt. Upton Elementary (Ms. Maxim 3/4), Gilbertsville, NY
    Sweeney Elementary School, Willimantic, CT
    LeMoyne Elementary School, Syracuse, NY

    We also received 5 butterflies that were tagged by tourists at El Rosario or
    Sierra Cincua Monarch Sanctuaries. You may e-mail us for the addresses of
    these tourists if you like.
