Next message: Nancy Saumsiegle: "Symbolic Butterflies Have Arrived"
Dear Friends,
We are sorry this is a little late but we are finally getting on the
Internet so you can tell you if your lovely butterflies have landed here in
(Byram) Stanhope, NJ. We received Symbolic Butterflies That were cared for
by a Mexican student by the name of Katie Ancl Castareda Angeles of
Angangueo, Michoacan. Your butterflies spent the winter in two clusters of
9 and 14. We had butterflies from 11 different states and provinces. It
has been wonderful to see these brightly colored butterflies adorn our
classroom. Eight of the butterflies were orange tagged and one from Mexico
was green tagged.
Below are a list of the schools where the butterflies we received came from:
Caleb Bucher Elementary School in Lancaster, PA
UGL School in Hewitt, NJ
Swanson School in Omaha, NE
Arundel Elementary School in Arundel, Quebec, Canada
Lincoln Elementary School in Canton, IL
ESC. SEC. TEC. Number 81 in Saltillo, Coah., Mexico
Abinton Friends School in Jenkintown, PA
Lake Elmo Elementary School in Lake Elmo, Minnesota
J. R. Henderson P. S. in Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Cider Mill School in Wilton, CT
Lakeview Elementary School in Ridley Park, PA
Central School in Greenfield, MA
Community Middle School in Nevada, TX
Collins School in Livingston, NJ
Woodmont Middle School in Piedmont, SC
Feel free to send us your e-mail so we can give you Katie Ancl Castareda
Angeles's address. I am sure some of you would like to thank her for
watching your butterflies this winter.
Sincerely,
Byram Intermediate School in Stanhope, NJ
