In the winter, eagles eat chunks of road-killed carcasses, deer guts,
fish(even frozen), field mice, whatever chunks of meat that they can
find. Eagles have even been caught stealing hard-boiled eggs from a bird
feeder, and minnows from ice fishers, all in order to survive the harsh
winter months.
