Dear Journey North,
Mrs. Swentzel's Third Grade Class from Stanhope(Byram) NJ, thought long and
hard about the question. They came up with the monarchs can use their
sense of smell to tell if people are present. The only other things we
could come up with were vibrations, but we have learned that this is how we
hear sounds.
