Mrs. Nunnally's second grade class at Peter Woodbury School in Bedford, NH
decided that a field mouse is like a monarch caterpillar because both are
small, they walk, they have small legs and feet, both eat plants and they
both may live in the same place like a field or near a farm.

We thought of ways that a hummingbird is like the adult monarch:
    both have wings and fly
    drink nectar from flowers
both have something long and slender to use to get nectar: a beak and a
    proboscis
    have two eyes
carry pollen from flower to flower
    are small
are fragile if touched or handled
