"What's the difference between claws and talons?"
Talons are curled and make it easier for the eagle to get their prey and to
perch on branches. They use them to rip the meat from their prey. When they
get their prey, the curved talons make it easier for them to carry off
their
prey to their nest.
While cats have claws, they use their teeth to rip the meat. Eagles would
use
their talons to do the tearing of the meat.
