"I just submitted our 1st hummer sighting (a female). She looks
pregnant. I've attacheda fuzzy picture of her. She is still with us
and it makes it day 3 since she came on the 18th. We have been hoping
we would have a female to have a brood nearby so we can have hummers
all season, and not just for the fall migration from mid-August through
till early October. She might continue to migrate tomorrow when the
rain stops, but since she looks pregnant, with eggs that is, and has
a possible nest mark, I don't think she will be going anywhere...Yay!"
