Finally got female rufous hummingbirds as well as the males.

1:30 yesterday,my family spotted a ruby on one of our feeders, which we had just put out the afternoon before!

April 2: Hobbs, New Mexico

6:30pm just happened to look at my feeder and saw my first hummer of the season---rufous. glad to see them back.

April 1: Pacheco, California

Male and female rufous pair eating honeysuckle. They look small and thin. Guess they just flew in and needed some food! 04/01 Pacheco, CA  37.98, -122.08

March 29: Black Creek, British Columbia

Just saw a male Rufous, haven't seen a female since one came through last week. Will see how well that goes over with the Anna's.
