Like a parade, Rufous hummingbirds have been passing through Tacoma, Washington since mid-March, according to Jack Moskovita's careful observations.
"A very late male and female rufous showed up today and took over the backyard feeder. Fortunately, I have three other feeders up around the house. They should all be up in Canada by now. I hope they stay and nest here, but probably not."
