Spring migrations can bring an overflow of new arrivals. Last week this happened multiple times when ruby-throat and orioles arrived at the same time. Orioles seek much of the same kinds of foods as hummingbirds and can be lured into view with backyard feeders.
"I observed my first rubythroat at the feeder at 10 am, and later the same morning observed my first 1st Baltimore Oriole!"
