Flower Nectar
Hummingbirds search for nectar-rich blossoms as they migrate north. The tiny birds burn energy so fast that they need to eat 1.5 to 3 times their weight in food each day. Flower nectar, along with small insects and spiders, provides fuel to keep them moving.
