The first hummingbirds arrived early for many in the Great Lakes region. By early May Ruby-throats were spotted north of Lakes Ontario, Erie, and Huron.
"Five days earlier than 2015. One male Ruby-throated hummingbird came to the feeder at 8 am," wrote Ruth in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on May 5th.
