    Dear Friends of the Monarchs,

Our class received your Symbolic Butterflies safely on May 16th. I am sorry that it has taken so long to let you know that they arrived, but I have been having trouble with my e-mail. They were cared for by a Mexican student by the name of Luis Angel Noriega Hernandez of Anuizotla, Mexico.
Your butterflies spent the winter clustered with butterflies from 14 other states and provinces.

Here are the schools where the butterflies we received came from:

Perry Elementary School in Perry, OK
Thomas Edicon Elementary in Moorhead, MN
Lake Elmo Elementary in Lake Elmo, Minnesota
Greenbrier Intermediate School in Chesapeake, VA
Olertangy Shanahan Middle School in Lewis, Ohio
Edgement Montessori School in Montclair, NJ
Judd Elementary School in North Brunswick, NJ
    Stuart Elementary in Madisonville, KY
    Hillcrest Public School Ontario, Canada
Ecole James R. Henderson in Ontario, Canada
First District School in Meadville, PA
St. Francis Intermediate School in St. Francis, MN

We look forward to hearing from some of you. We hope our message does not arrive before everyone is out of school for the summer. Our last day is June 17th. Have a great summer and we hope to hear from some of you next year.

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Swentzel's 3rd grade class
