This is one of the first three roosts reported in Texas, all on Sunday:

"Monarch started arriving Sunday afternoon (9/30/12), all gathering on the mulberry tree. After spending the night, they were off again by 11:00 a.m. There were about 25-30 monarchs, apparently needing a good rest," says Nancy Johnson of Saginaw, Texas.
