South Winds
Tuesday's wind map illustrates how the wind can help monarchs travel northward quickly. New generation monarchs are being born in Texas. Look at the south winds blowing northward from that region. Monarchs appeared in large numbers this week in South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.
