- While working in the school prairie a female monarch coasted past looking for milkweed to lay her eggs. It was 4:00 in the afternoon. The winds were light and the temperature was 64 degrees. She was still on the prairie when I left at 4:30.
- A faded Monarch drifted by. The winds were strong and it rode a wind current that carried it out over the meadow.
- Yipeeeee they're here. She came floating and set down in the back garden
- Saw my first monarch flitting through my yard.
- I have swamp milkweed and regular milkweed starting to sprout and saw my first monarch today--hooray!
