When is Spring?
For robins, spring arrives with eathworms emerging. An old theory says robins migrate in the wake of spring thaws as the average high temperature for 7 days reaches 36 degrees. That's when frosts are out of the ground and earthworms come to the surface. Some sources say 35 degrees while others say 37 degrees. Why not test the theory yourself? How would you do it?
