Looking for Spring
The calendar turns to spring with the vernal equinox this Friday, March 20. Male robins are the first to return. Look for a white eye ring, a black head, and a dark rusty-red breast. Only the males sing the true song. The sight and sound of robins is especially welcome, even as winter still blankets many areas.
