Worms Are Emerging!
In Bristol, Tennessee, 4th grader Chelsea had to step over numerous earthworms on the sideway going to school March 11. As temps rise, snowmelt and rain soften the soil. Earthworms emerge, much to the delight of kids AND robins!
"We were making observations of the emerging tulips and one of the children spotted a worm. It was 4 days into the thaw and it was very wet and warm outside."
