CLUES From Your Mystery Friends:

Mystery Class #:

# 1. Approximately 1,100 km to the west is one of the highest mountains in the world.

# 2 The town is in a country which was founded in the year 681.

# 3 Our continent was named by the ancient Greeks "Terra Australis Incognita."

# 4 Our province has the longest wooden covered bridge in the world.

# 5 Our country is long yet narrow...few people live more than 2 hours from the coast. There are lots of islands & we have volcanoes, boiling mud pools & earthquakes, since the land is geologically quite "young" ! There are many inland mountains, some over 10,000 feet ( 3000 metres)

# 6 The country we live in has only been this country for 7 1/2 years.

# 7 We have 236 surrounding islands.

# 8 The main indigenous languages are Shona and Ndebele.

# 9 The four main types of festivals celebrated here are the New Year (1st of Jan), Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and Deepavali

# 10 It was an old belief here that Aurora Borealis is a result of a fox running over the fjelds(mountains) and sweeping its tail over the sky.
