CLUES From Your Mystery Friends:

# 1 Located on the western shore of an estuary with a "silvery" name (in our language).

# 2 The currency in our country is called LEV.

# 3 Our part of the world was discovered 177 years ago [November 17, 1820] by an American sealing Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer. A Mr. Peter Harvey, was among Palmer's crew and became the first Black man to sail to this part of the world.

# 4 Seventy percent (70%) of the people in our province speak English, the other thirty percent (30%) speak our other official language.

# 5 Our country is much the same size, climate & terrain as Italy, Japan, California or Britain, but we have only a fraction of their populations (about 3.5 Million at last count). 60 million sheep though!

# 6 Our community has the largest American population outside of the Continental United States.

# 7 Our city's population is over 5 million.

# 8 Our country lies between the Zambesi River to the north and the Limpopo River to the south.

# 9 Our country is sometimes called the 'Garden City'.

# 10 It is only 50 km to the Arctic Ocean from here, as the crow flies.
